Long-running Christmas craft sale packs the St. Paul Rec Centre

The Big Christmas Craft Sale took place at the St. Paul Recreation Centre on Dec. 3.

ST. PAUL - The St. Paul Visual Arts Centre's Big Christmas Craft Sale brought shoppers to the St. Paul Rec. Centre on Dec. 3, offering a variety of unique, handmade items for sale.

From pottery, to jewellery, Christmas décor and bath and body products, there was plenty to choose from. The event has been taking place for nearly 40 years in the community.

Rather than charging admission at the sale, volunteers collected food bank donations.

A number of craft sales and vendor markets have been taking place at various venues in St. Paul over the past few weeks. Coming up this weekend is the fourth annual Maker's Market with More, which is also taking place at the St. Paul Rec Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
