All week throughout Lac La Biche County celebrations dedicated to the arts and creativity are being held in preparation for the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts on June 10 and 11.

From June 8 to11 the Lac La Biche Art Club is hosting the Art Maze where hundreds of creations from both local and regional artists of all ages will be displayed and up for sale. The event will be running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Bold Center on the second floor. Head on down to also participate in a search game hidden throughout the displays for a chance to win a prize.

On Wednesday evening local rock band The Torpedos and Friends performed a set at the McGrane Theatre for over a dozen attendees. The Homemade Jam session was also hosted by the Lac La Biche Art Club.

More events will be happening throughout the week both at Portage College and Bold Center for all ages.
