Reeve

According to the unofficial results, after all polls were reported, Glen Ockerman has claimed the spot as reeve with 1,270 votes to Yvonne Weinmeier's 1,200.

10:10 p.m.

Glen Ockerman has 1,238 votes for reeve, with most polls now having reported. Yvonne Weinmeier has 1,169.

Division 5

Division 5 results are showing Dale Hedrick has retained his seat on council with 407 votes to Carol Reeve's 125.

9:40 p.m.

With a couple polls still having to report votes for reeve, Ockerman is now ahead with 1,118 vote to Weinmeier's 1,065 votes. 

Division 2

Most polls have also now reported for Division 2 with Kevin Wirsta ahead at 170 votes. Jim Kiss was in second at 89 votes.

Division 3

Most polls have now reported numbers for Division 3, with Ross Krekoski getting 189 votes. Marc Marcoux is in second at 120 votes.

Division 6

Most polls have now reported for Division 6, with Louis Dechaine ahead at 146, to Ed Miller's 133 votes and Wendi Dehod's 116 votes.

9:20 p.m.

Polling stations have started reporting numbers and early counts show a tight race between reeve candidates Ockerman and Weinmeier, with a handful of polling stations still left to report.

Just before 9:30 p.m., the reporting polls were showing 823-835 in favour of Weinmeier.

ST. PAUL - Polls throughout the County of St. Paul will close at 8 p.m. tonight, ballots will be counted, and results announced later this evening.

Lakeland Today will be updating this story as results are made available. There will be at least three new faces joining council, regardless of the outcome of the election.

There are two candidates vying for the reeve's seat - Glen Ockerman and Yvonne Weinmeier. Former reeve Steve Upham is not seeking re-election.

In Division 1, incumbent Darrell Younghans was elected by acclamation.

In Division 2, Jim Kiss, Jonny Neilsen and incumbent Kevin Wirsta were included on the ballot.

In Division 3, there is a race between five candidates, including: Albert Boratynec, Janice Fodchuk, Ross Krekoski, Marc Marcoux, and Linda Meger. Long-time councillor Cliff Martin is not seeking re-election.

In Division 4, incumbent Maxine Fodness regained her seat by acclamation.

In Division 5, incumbent Dale Hedrick and Carol Reeves were included on the ballot.

And in Division 6, another new face is sure to join council with former councillor Laurent Amyotte not seeking re-election. Included on the ballot is Louis Dechaine, Wendy Dehod, and Ed Miller.
