TWO HILLS/MUNDARE - An investigation into the purchase of several sea-cans using stolen credit cards came to a head on Feb. 2 on a property in Mundare.
According to Two Hills RCMP, police began an investigating a fraud complaint in December.
"It was alleged that several sea-cans were purchased using stolen credit cards and then resold to a third party," according to RCMP.
On Feb. 2, Two Hills RCMP executed a search warrant on a property in Mundare.
"During the search warrant police seized six sea-cans that had been purchased by stolen credit cards and sold. In addition, police have located another three sea-cans that were purchased and sold fraudulently."
The total value of the sea-cans was over $25,000. Charges are pending and the investigation is continuing.
