ST. PAUL - The St. Paul Fire Department responded to a shed fire at 3 a.m. on Oct. 20 and the incident has been deemed suspicious.

It took crews about an hour to put out the fire, according to St. Paul Fire Chief Trevor Kotowich.

The wooden shed was found fully involved with fire when the department arrived on scene.

The fire is "deemed suspicious as no utilities or other sources of ignition were present in the area," according to Kotowich.

He noted a good response from firefighters meant they were able to prevent the fire from spreading, as winds were gusty at the time.

Anyone with information about the fire, or anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the 4400 block of 48th Street, is asked to contact RCMP at 780-645-8888.
