Thousands gather at annual Glendon derby and mudbogs

GLENDON – Cars and trucks smashed into each other again and again on Aug. 2 during the annual Mud Bog and Demolition Derby north of Glendon, each hit drawing cheers from the crowd.

At the end of the day, with after much so destruction, only a few vehicles remained.

In the Derby Trucks category, Ole Lotsberg won first place, with Nolan Debusschere and Derek Cote tailing in second and third place, respectively.

Dave Kemsley won the top spot in the Derby Cars category. Rocky Penner won second place and Dakota Theroux won third place.

In the Mudbogs category, William Darling won first place in class 1 high, while Jamie Spiess won class 2 mid, with Steven Raketti winning class 3 low.
