Two Hills RCMP seize stolen firearms from rural property

Firearms and other stolen property have been seized by Two Hills RCMP, along with substances believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine.

A number of stolen items, including firearms, were seized by RCMP from a rural property in Lamont County.

TWO HILLS - Two Hills RCMP have recovered stolen items from a rural property in Lamont County, following a search warrant being executed on Feb. 1.

The search resulted in the seizure of five firearms. Two of them have been confirmed to have been stolen from Vermilion and Donalda, Alta.

Police also seized a side-by-side that was reported stolen from West Cove, Alta., in April of last year.

Substances suspected to be cocaine and methamphetamine, along with several cartons of cigarettes were also seized by RCMP.

"Police located printing equipment and believe that firearms licences were being manufactured at this location," according to RCMP. Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
