RCMP issued a news release to media on Dec. 20 at 12:45 p.m. saying that a portion of Highway 663 west of the Village of Boyle was again open to traffic after a crash that took place the previous afternoon.
"RCMP continue the investigation into the circumstances of the collision," noted Alberta RCMP spokesperson Cst. Kelsey Davidge in the Dec. 20 statement.
The crash was first reported on Dec. 19 as a "serious motor vehicle collision" that had forced the closure of Highway 663 from the intersection of Highway 63 west of Boyle to Range Road 204.
No details about the crash or condition of people involved has been released by RCMP
"More information will be provided once available," said Davidge.
