The St. Paul Cubs men’s baseball team was back in action on Thursday as they took on the Goodfish Lake Braves on their home diamond at Jaycee ballpark in St. Paul.
The Cubs put on an impressive performance securing another win for the division’s leading team. Thursday’s game saw the Cubs dominate over the Goodfish Lake Braves as they won 11-0.
Cub’s pitcher Justin Anderson pitched a complete game shutout helping the team to their one-sided victory.
There are two more league games scheduled for the Cubs and also a home tournament held in St. Paul for all the local fans to come out and enjoy a weekend filled with competitive baseball action.
The Cubs will play there last scheduled league game on August 11. The following two weeks will see the division leading Cubs square up against the other teams in the Lakeland Baseball League in hopes of winning the league championship title.
