ELK POINT - Last Friday night’s 3-1 win by the Wainwright Rustlers over the Dewberry Mustangs gave the Rustlers a one point final advantage for the season, which will send them into playoffs with the fourth place Two Hills Longhorns, while the Mustangs will take on the Elk Point Elks, who finished two points below the Mustangs.

That best of five series was scheduled to start this past Sunday in Dewberry, but ice issues forced cancellation of that game, and the series will start in Elk Point on Friday at the A.G. Ross Arena.

The puck will drop at 8 p.m. in Elk Point.

Other teams playing in the SaskAlta Senior Hockey League playoffs include Saskatchewan teams from St. Walburg, Paradise Hill, Meadow Lake, and Lashburn.
