LAC LA BICHE - J. A. Williams High School senior basketball teams dropped their early season home games to the visiting Cold Lake Royals just prior to the Christmas break.
Both JAWS Sharks teams lost by wide margins to the visiting Cold Lake teams at the Bold Center courts on December 20.
The Sharks might be having some challenges to start the new season, says coach Andrew Pryzybylski — but they'll get better.
"Both of our teams are just getting started in their season," he said, adding that both teams have a strong foundation, and once player roles are a little better defined, the scoreboards will look better.
The Sharks will get a chance to show those improvements after the Christmas holiday break when both teams are scheduled for a rematch games with the Royals. Those games are slated for Jan. 13.
