Local golf sensation Jamie Sadlowski has won consecutive world long drive championships, and is known for his how far he can accurately hit a golf ball. This weekend, his skills on the links again paid off as he became a two-time champion of the annual Men’s Open at the St. Paul Golf Club.

“Jamie was very tough to catch this weekend,” says Club Manager Jerrid Pasitney, following the two-day event, which took place on July 17 and 18. Sadlowski shot even par over the course of the tournament.

Overall, it was “a great weekend for golf,” adds Pasitney, with the weather warm and free from rain. However, as one competitor noted, “There’s no such thing as a bad day for golf.”

Pasitney said this year’s tournament had 44 competitors take part in the Men’s Open.
