The Bonnyville Voyageurs celebrated the ups and downs of the season during their annual year-end banquet. Players, their families, and volunteers packed into Notre Dame High School (NDHS) on Thursday, Dec.

After months of planning and organizing, the World Jr. A Challenge (WJAC) is finally here. The United States, Czech Republic, Team Canada East, Team Canada West, and Russia face-off at the RJ Lalonde Arena over the course of this week.

The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs have another player in the spotlight for his talent and dedication to the sport. The Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) announced that Pontiac centreman Trey Thomas was the player of the week for Nov. 26 to Dec. 1.

The world is heading back to Bonnyville, and it could be the last time for a while. From Dec. 9 to 15, the World Jr. A Challenge (WJAC) will be coming back to Bonnyville for the second time in three years.

The sr. girls volleyball team at Notre Dame High School (NDHS) spiked their way through the competition to earn their place at provincials. After winning the North East Zone A championship for the first time since 1999 the NDHS team was celebrating.

It was a night of laughter, tears, and celebrating during the Bonnyville Bandit’s year-end banquet. Players, families, and coaches came together to celebrate the season at Notre Dame Elementary School on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The Bonnyville Renegades looked back on a successful season at their year-end banquet. Along with family members and coaches, the players celebrated their accomplishments and received awards for their hard work on and off the field.

The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs’ last home game 2018 didn’t end the way they had hoped. After beating the Lloydminster Bobcats and Calgary Canucks earlier in the week, the Pontiacs fell to the Drumheller Dragons.

The Bonnyville Sr. Pontiacs could almost taste the victory. On Saturday, Nov. 24, they faced off against their rivals, the Daysland Northstars.
