PRAGUE (AP) — Josef Černý, one of the highest-scoring forwards in the former Czechoslovakia who helped his country win three Olympic medals, has died. He was 85. His former Czech club, Kometa Brno, announced his death on Thursday.

NEW YORK (AP) — George Kooymans, the guitarist and co-founder of the Dutch band Golden Earring who co-wrote the hard-rock classic “Radar Love” and wrote and shared lead vocals on the top 10 hit “Twilight Zone,” has died at age 77.

DUBLIN (AP) — Maeve Kyle, who became Ireland's first female track-and-field Olympian when she competed at the 1956 Melbourne Games, has died. She was 96. The Olympic Federation of Ireland said Wednesday that Kyle was a “trailblazer for women’s sport.

Prominent Miami defense lawyer Roy Black, who gained national attention by winning an acquittal in the 1991 William Kennedy Smith rape trial and was involved in scores of other high-profile cases ranging from Justin Bieber to Jeffrey Epstein, has die
