OTTAWA — Daryl Watts and Ottawa's Professional Women’s Hockey League team put an end to Toronto's winning ways Saturday. Watts had three goals as Ottawa rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat Toronto 5-3.

MIAMI — Canadian Leylah Fernandez won her opening women's singles match at the Miami Open on Saturday. Fernandez, of Laval, Que., dispatched Colombia's Emiliana Arango 6-4, 6-2.

NEW YORK (AP) — Cal Clutterbuck scored twice, Mathew Barzal and Hudson Fasching each had a goal and two assists and the New York Islanders snapped a six-game losing streak with a 6-3 win against the Winnipeg Jets Saturday.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Tyson Foerster scored with 1:29 left and the Philadelphia Flyers snapped a seven-game losing streak to Boston with a 3-2 win over the Bruins on Saturday. Travis Konecny scored two goals and Foerster also had an assist.

Canadian snowboarder Liam Brearley won the gold medal in a World Cup slopestyle event Saturday. Brearley, 20, of Gravenhurst, Ont., scored 89.93 points to finish ahead of Japan's Taiga Hasegawa (85.31). Australian Valentino Gueseli was third (83.77).

BALTIMORE (AP) — Peter Angelos, owner of a Baltimore Orioles team that endured long losing stretches and shrewd proprietor of a law firm that won high-profile cases against industry titans, died Saturday. He was 94.

IDRE FJÄLL, Sweden — Another year, another women's skicross World Cup title for Canadian Marielle Thompson. Thompson, of Whistler, B.C., earned her sixth victory of the World Cup season Saturday.
