A curriculum developed by Baseball Canada is being used to help teach the game to Egypt's first youth baseball league.

TOKYO — Canada's Rylan Wiens finished with a bronze medal in the men's 10-metre platform Tuesday at a FINA Diving World Cup event. Wiens, from Saskatoon, was 10th after the semifinals, but he posted a cumulative score of 488.

OTTAWA — Calgary has been chosen to host the 2023 ISU world junior figure skating championships. The event will run Feb. 27-March 5 at WinSport Arena at Canada Olympic Park.

OTTAWA — Filip Gustavsson and the Ottawa Senators penalty kill added to the Winnipeg Jets' woes Monday night. Nikita Zaitsev scored with 1:13 left in the third period to earn Ottawa a 2-1 win over Winnipeg.

He's on the lookout for a new school but Deshawn Stevens isn't closing the door on playing in the CFL this year. The six-foot-two, 255-pound linebacker is currently in the NCAA transfer portal following five years at Maine.
