It is with saddened hearts that the family of Arnold Balash announce his passing in Two Hills, Alberta, on August 20 at the age of 87 years. Arnold will be lovingly remembered by his children, James, Jeannie and John; his grandchildren Shayne, AJ, Johnathan, Rosie and Tammy, along with a number of great grandchildren. Arnold is also remembered by his sisters Mary, Betty, Gloria and Connie and his long time special friend, Hilda Malychuk. Arnold was predeceased by his wife Marie, who passed away in 1980 after 25 years of marriage. Arnold is also predeceased by his parents, John and Grace Balash; his brothers, Walter, Andrew, Victor, Lawrence, Peter and Steve and his sisters Annie, Eva and Nancy. A celebration of Arnold’s life took place on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Myrnam Elks Hall. Interment followed at St. Peter’s cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Two Hills Health Centre Long-term Care for the kind and compassionate manner in which they cared for Arnold during his time with them.
