Georgie Leon Blower (George) of Vilna, Alberta passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 27, 2020 in Red Deer, Alberta. Born July 17, 1957 in St. Paul, Alberta to Harold and Cecile (Faubert) Blower.
George graduated from High School in St. Paul, Alberta and got his Red Seal Autobody License at NAIT. He married Anne Reed August 23, 1975 and soon after they had a son Adam. George worked as an Autobody Technician in St. Paul and later Lac La Biche. In addition to doing Autobody work George also started ranching. Throughout George kept his passion for restoring classic and unique vehicles. He loved sailing, horseback riding, firearms, and motorcycles but most importantly, he loved his family.
In addition to Anne and Adam (Nicky) Blower, George is survived by his grandchildren Logan, Sierra, and Gemma Blower. George is survived by 4 brothers, Alderic (Vicky) Blower of Port Alberni BC, William Blower of St. Paul, Brent (Mariette) Blower of Lloydminster, and Harold (Catherine) Blower of Okanagan Falls BC. 2 sisters, Betty (Ken) Hansen of Brooks and Judith (Brian) Copping of Edmonton. Also, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
George was predeceased by both his parents.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date.
