On January 28, 2021, Mr. Oliver Brertton of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 82 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Eliza Brertton (nee Delver); 5 children, Evelyn (Les) Johnston, Kathleen (Ernest) Gadwa, Sharon Brertton, Leona Brertton & Walter (Cesley) Brertton; grandchildren, Lisa, Ovide, Nikki, Charlie, Kolten, Thomas, Danielle, Taleah, Dawson, Roman, Ebonie, Samson & Malachi; great-grandchildren, Dallas, Natasha, Darian, Royce, Matthew, Chloe, Kauis, McKayla, Tommy, Iyla, Peter, Oliver, Kai, Kaiden, Micah, Nicole, Emma, Mabeline, Novan, Setrine & Andrew; great-great -grandchild, Xavier; siblings, Florence Moses, Sylvia Brertton, Doreen Nayawatatic, Doris Nayawatatic & Richard Jackson. Mr. Brertton was predeceased by his parents, Albert Nayawatatic (Brertton) & Sarah Giant; siblings, Raymond Giant, Henry Giant, Robert Giant, George Brertton, Freddy Jackson, Yvonne Brertton, Bruce Brertton & Dennis Brertton; grandchildren, Charlie Gadwa & Nikki Gadwa.
A Private Funeral Service was held at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Pastor Allan O’Soup officiated, with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
