It is with saddened hearts that the family of Brian Blanchard announces his unexpected passing on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 65 years.
Brian will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 43 years, Mary Jane Blanchard of Bonnyville, AB, and his two children: Jeannie Marie Blanchard of Alberta Beach, AB & B.J. Blanchard of Blackfalds, AB; grandchildren: Jezrial, Ziah, Juliana, Adelyn; brothers: Ervin (Faye) Blanchard of Lloydminster, SK, Rodney (Deb) Blanchard of Cold Lake, AB, John Blanchard of Fort Kent, AB; sisters: Jenny (Louie) Doonanco of Bonnyville, AB, Diane Doonanco of Cold Lake, AB; sister-in-law: Karen Blanchard of Lloydminster, AB; brothers-in- law: Jerome Desrosiers of Athabasca, AB, Daniel Tizzard of Meadow Lake, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
Brian was predeceased by his parents: Elgin Blanchard in 1981, Georgette Blanchard in 2011; brother: Gordon (Butch) Blanchard in 2016; sisters: Bernice Desrosiers in 2001, Linda Tizzard in 2005; brother-in-law: Albert Doonanco in 2014; nephews: Lorne (Tiger) Doonanco, Jesse Tizzard, Brett Blanchard.
Funeral Service, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, AB with Father Rene Realuyo officiating. Final resting place to take place February 1, 2020 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fort Kent, AB.
