On May 16, 2025, Mr. Alcide Joseph Gilbert Cardinal of St. Lina, Alberta, passed away at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Cardinal-Wilson (Chris Wilson); grandchildren, Seth & Taurie; siblings, Patricia Cardinal-Faisthuber (Ludwig Faisthuber), Lucille (Jacques) Vallee, Rocky Ward, Hortence "Dusty" Caron (Christopher Derewenko), Yvonne Cardinal & Laurie Martel (Ron Martin); numerous loving nieces & nephews. Al was predeceased by his parents, Patrick & Violetta; brothers, Maurice, Henry & Lucien. A Wake will be held on Friday, May 30 (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) at Al’s Residence, St. Lina. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Lina with Reverend Father Joseph Thaliparambil officiating.
