Mark Andre Meunier passed away peacefully on June 1st, 2025, at the age of 95. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Meunier, his sister, Madelaine Jensen, his sons Jim Meunier and Mark Meunier, his daughter Marie Fletcher, and grandchildren Anthony Meunier, Michelle Meunier, and Robert Fletcher.
Mark was born in Morinville Alberta on December 22nd, 1929, and was one of ten siblings.

His childhood in Morinville Alberta instilled a lifelong love of family. Mark and Ruby first met and bonded over their mutual appreciation for outdoor living and continued to share this throughout their long and happy marriage of 68 years.

Mark was the Principal of Beaverlodge School from 1954 to 1958. From 1958 to 1964, He was the Principal of the High school at C.F.B Cold Lake, and from 1964 to 1973, he was the Principal of Grand Centre High school. Mark moved the family to Innisfail in the fall of 1973, and was the principal of Innisfail High from 1972 to 1975.

After retiring from Education,Mark built houses and apartment buildings in Red Deer. He was a lifeguard, a pilot, a sailor, a hunter, and a Cross Country ski official at the Olympics in Calgary in 1988. He loved to maintain the cross country ski trails in Red Deer.

The celebration of life for Mark will be held at Crane Lake
Alberta on July 12th at 7.00. All friends and family are welcome. The family asks that donations be made to the Red Deer Christmas Bureau instead of flowers or
other gifts.
