On June 29, 2020, Shannon Desjarlais of Frog Lake passed away at the age of 48 years.
She is survived by her loving children, Jordan Moocheweines (Cheryl Stanley), Tamara Moocheweines (Cornell Waskahat), Keegan Desjarlais (Reena Moyah), Amber Desjarlais (Jade Cardinal), Jasey Desjarlais & Whisper Desjarlais; father of her children, William Desjarlais; numerous grandchildren; mother, Rita Moyah-Nelson; father, John Moocheweines; siblings, Greta (Mark) Stroud, Jenny Moocheweines (Dave), Tracey Moocheweines, Sally Moocheweines (Richard), Sheila Moocheweines (Richard) & John Jr. Moocheweines; numerous nieces & nephews. Shannon was predeceased by her brother, Tony Moocheweines; sister, Sherry Moocheweines; nieces, Jennilee, Gienevie & Jeannine; nephew, Daniel.
A private Wake & Funeral Service was held at Frog Lake Band Hall, Frog Lake. Pastor Wilfred Cross officiated, with interment in Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake.
