With great sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of Laurette Yvonne Ducharme of Bonnyville, Alberta on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
Laurette is lovingly survived by her husband of 65 years: Martin Ducharme of Bonnyville; devoted children: Claudette (Ron) Kardash, Suzanne (Marcel) Bordeleau, Carmen (Louis) Vallee, Richard Ducharme (Kim Nahirniak) all of Bonnyville; cherished grandchildren: Clayton (Barbi), Chad (Marcy), Fallon (Maurice), Dayna (Jeffrey), Vanessa (Ashton), Shayna (Shaun Timmons), Joleen (Zakk Gamble); precious great grandchildren: Haily, Cali, Lance, Walker, Brooklyn, Addie, Benson, Faye; brother: Clermont (Claudette) Roy of Bonnyville; sisters: Monique Fitzpatrick of Calgary, Denise Laporte of Bonnyville, Pierrette (Marcel) Ducharme of Bonnyville, Jeannine Laberge of Morinville; brothers & sisters-in-law: Joseph Brunet, Edna Roy, Nettie Roy, Connie Ducharme, Margaret Ducharme; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Laurette was predeceased by her parents: Ernest & Maria Roy; parents-in-law: Origine & Elizabeth Ducharme; brothers: Valere Roy, Leonel Roy; sisters: Lorraine Brunet, Martha Ducharme; brothers & sisters-in-law: Jeanette (Gilbert) Collins, Raymond (Dora) Ducharme, Cecile (Jean Paul) Bourbeau, Armand (Muriel) Ducharme, Juliette (Marcel) Lafreniere, Yvon Ducharme, Claude Ducharme, Maurice Ducharme (6th child of Origine & Elizabeth Ducharme), Omer Ducharme, Denis Ducharme (8th child of Origine & Elizabeth Ducharme), Victor Kaehn, Robert Laporte.
Private Funeral Service, by invitation only, Friday, February 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville with Father Rene Realuyo as celebrant. A recording of the service is available on our website. Pallbearers: Clayton Procinski, Chad Bordeleau, Ashton Karas, Maurice Kissel, Jeffrey Madden, Shaun Timmons. Final resting place, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fort Kent, AB.
