On the morning of Monday, January 13 Eileen Dutkiewicz from St. Paul, Alberta went to be with her Lord and Saviour, at peace and with her loving husband Gerald of 62 years at her side. Eileen is survived by the love of her life, Gerald; children Dale (Dianne), Tami (Steven) and Scott (Cheryl); grandkids Devon, Braydon, Jo, Matthew and Katie; brother Ted and sisters Jean and Ruby, as well as many nieces and nephews. Eileen was raised on a farm west of Didsbury, AB. After graduation she went to University to become a teacher. She married Gerald in 1957 and the couple lived in southern Alberta until their move to the St. Paul farm in 1974. Together the family built their own cedar log home and raised cattle, horses, and in later years, buffalo. Eileen’s kitchen was a place of comfort, love and good food for their children, grandchildren and friends. Eileen was well known for her love for God and others. Many people were at the receiving end of her welcoming heart and home. You could always phone Eileen and she was ready to listen and pray with you. Although she will be greatly missed, her family rejoice knowing that she is in the presence of her Lord and Saviour and loved ones. The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to the doctors and medical staff at St. Theresa hospital and Extendicare for taking such good care of our beloved Mom and Grandma. Celebration of Life, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, St. Paul, Alberta with Pastor Duane Grant officiating.
