With saddened hearts but a life well lived the family of Mary Hewak announces her passing on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Bonnyville, Alberta at the age of 94 years.
Mary is lovingly survived by her children: Helen (Bill) Ostashek, Tony (Louise) Hewak, David (Iris) Hewak, Terry (Tracy) Hewak, Judy Mickalyk; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mary was predeceased by her husband: Mike Hewak (2015); son-in-law: Kelly Flathers; parents: Maria & Stephan Romanchuk; siblings: Mike, Paul, Evelyn, John.
Funeral service by invitation only will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 with Father Andrij Nykyforuk officiating. Pallbearers: Chris Hewak, Justin Hewak, Paul Ostashek, Richard Ostashek, Jordon Ostashek, Joey Romanchuk. Interment to follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, La Corey, Alberta.
