Jean-Claude “Claude” Pruneau was born in St. Prosper Dorchester, Quebec on March 1, 1933 to parents August & Valerie Pruneau.
On Monday, July 13, 2020 Claude passed at the age of 87 years in St. Paul, AB.
Claude is lovingly survived by his wife of 61 years, Aurore Pruneau (née Roberge); two sons: Robert (Diane) Pruneau of St. Paul, AB, Bert (Laura) Pruneau of St. Paul, AB; two daughters: Valerie (Mark) Allemekinders of Campbell River, BC, Joanne (Scott) Gauthier of Edmonton, AB; fourteen grandchildren: Gaetan, Kendrick, Kate, Bryan, Bryce, Amy, Ryan, Brooke, Mathew, Nathan, Zachery, Gregg, Elizabeth, Claudia; seven great grandchildren; Micah, Asher, Alex, Lilly, Mylo, Theo, Barlow; as well as numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Claude was predeceased by his son: Gaston Pruneau in 2014; parents: August & Valerie Pruneau.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a graveside service for family and close friends will take place on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul, AB with Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier officiating.
