Kobbero (Dumais), Lucille “Judy” Marie – Age 71, of Edmonton, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, in the bed she once shared with her beloved husband, Ben, who passed on July 11, 2018, 7 years to the day. Her loyal cat, Georgie Girl, and a well-loved book were by her side.
Born in Bonnyville, Alberta, Judy was one of eight children and is survived by her only daughter Hayley, brother Kenneth and her sister Pauline. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren between the ages of 9 and 21. Judy was predeceased by her parents, Charlotte Cardinal and Ernest Dumais.
A lover of books, mysteries, the supernatural, and astrology, Judy carried wonder and wisdom wherever she went.
Her curiosity and imagination were as boundless as the stars she often gazed upon.
Family and friends may pay their respects during the visitation on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Park Memorial, 9709 – 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton.
