On December 26, 2021, Mrs. Barbara Koppang of Lindbergh, Alberta passed away at the age of 82 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Edward; children, Chuck, Sherry (Jason) & Daren (Charlene); 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna (Bill) Zapesocki; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Koppang was predeceased by her parents, Rose & Charlie Martin; daughter, Charlotte; son, Donnie; sisters, Theresa Kummetz & Betty Brown; 2 grandsons, Christopher Koppang & Charles Maddex; 2 great-grandchildren, Cilus Maddex & Ashton De Vries. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Allied Arts Centre, Elk Point. All individuals attending will be required to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination, proof of a privately-paid negative rapid test result taken within 72 hours of service or documentation of medical exemption as well as photo ID. Pastor Kelly Sibley will be officiating, with interment in Ferguson Flats Cemetery, Lindbergh.
