1930 - 2020
With deep sorrow, we say goodbye to our beloved mother & best friend. On August 25th, 2020, mom passed away peacefully at the age of 90 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her 7 children, Jean (Susan), Claudette, Louise (Paul Carpenter), Lilliane (Rod Ayres), Rachelle (Leonce Langevin), Robert (Sandie) & Claire (Ken Ference); 18 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Irene Lafrance of Kelowna, BC & Clémence Tremblay of St. Albert, AB; and numerous nieces and nephews. Fernande was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 2004; & parents, Odilon & Bertha Gagné. She was also predeceased by 5 brothers, Argé, Germain, Maurice, Lionel & Marcel; & 4 sisters, Lucille Lemaire, Sr. Florence Gagné, MarieAnna Jubinville & Sr. Laurence Gagné.
A Private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul for the immediate family. His Excellency Bishop Paul Terrio was the celebrant. Cremation has taken place with inurnment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.
