August 13, 1962 – March 28, 2020
On Friday, March 27, 2020 Maurice Cardinal passed away tragically at the age of 57 years along with his nephew Jacob Sansom age 39 years near Glendon, Alberta. Maurice is lovingly survived by his partner: Corrine Katish; daughter: Sheila Gray; grandchildren: Ryley Gray, Jayden Gray, Syris Louison and Kiley Louison; siblings: Gladys Tremblay, Ivan Cardinal, Ruby (Jason) Smith, Joanne (Richard) Badger, Leonard Cardinal, Christine Cardinal and Irene Forsyth (Graham). Maurice was predeceased by his parents: Gus & Clara Cardinal; siblings: Stanley, Leona, Garry and Gloria. A private family service was held on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Rene Realuyo as the celebrant. A cremation followed and a Celebration of Life for Maurice and Jacob will be held at a later date.
