Vern passed away peacefully at his Sherwood Park home on October 16, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
Vern will be forever lovingly remembered by his son Darryl and wife Connie; daughter Anita and husband John; daughter Crystal; grandchildren James, Nicholas, Hunter-Lea, Ryley, and Madison; great-grandchildren Brody and Aria; and sisters Emily, Martha, Lorraine, and Anne.
Vern was predeceased by his wife of 51 years Gail, parents Nick and Florence, and great-grandchild Reagan. Vern will also be lovingly remembered by his brother and sisters-in-law who played a big part in his life and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 12:30 pm at East Star Cemetery in McRae, AB.
