Waltmer (Walter) Roeder was born on November 27, 1931 in Kilm Alberta. He passed away at the age of 88 years, on June 25, 2020.
He lived, loving the farm life and his family. Walter farmed all his life in the Ashmont area. He was a man who loved to help and had many friends.
Walter taught his children and grandchildren the meaning of courage, strength, love, compassion, positivity, and fun. Everyone who met him said he was a gentle and caring man.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Audrey Roeder (nee Williams) His Children Kathy (Cade) Ronald, Kevin (Michelle) Roeder, Tammy (Rene) Renauld.
10 grandchildren Angela Roeder, Dylan and Courtney Barlad, Jaime, Mickayla, and Alanna Roeder, Julian and Logan Renauld, Hayden and Benjamin Ronald.
4 great grandchildren, Rose Barlad, Braxton Morrill, Leland Brietzke, Carter Szegi

Walter was pre-deceased by his parents, Bill and Selma Roeder, his mother and father-in law Harry and Mary Williams, brother and sister-in-law Carol and Dave Peckham, nephew Perry Peckham and his grandson Lucas Renauld.
Walter has been cremated and there will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
