On August 18, 2023, Mrs. Katherine “Kay” Sadlowsky of St. Paul, Alberta passed away at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her daughters, Bettiann (Emile) Cote of St. Paul, Debbie (Kerry) Calvert of Fort Saskatchewan & Gail Kohlman of Leduc County; 7 grandchildren, Devon (Shanine) Lafreniere, Megan (Lane) Morin & Michael Calvert all of Fort Saskatchewan, Jodi (Casey) Phipps of Lloydminster, Kody Kohlman of Edmonton, Kory Kohlman of Calmar & Katie Kohlman of Leduc County; 6 great grandchildren, Adalyn, Lilly, Axel, Tucker, Elyse & Nixon. Kay leaves behind siblings, James (Julia) Krawiec & Olga Cross of Bonnyville; sisters-in-law, Mary Hilchey, Mary Hammond & Elizabeth Sadlowski. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews & the many people whom she met during her years as a teacher and the years since. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Sadlowsky; her son-in-law, Garry Kohlman; parents, Stefan & Polly Krawiec; brothers, Peter, John (Veronica) & Walter Krawiec; brothers- and sister-in-law, Allan Cross, Metro (Gwen), Bill, John (Rose), Fred, Ted Sadlowski, Barb Sadlowski & Robert Hilchey. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Abdulsalam for being such a dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor for mom as well as the Second Floor Nursing Team at St. Therese Hospital for the special and excellent care you provided our mom.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Interment in Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Boyne Lake with Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie officiating.
