It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Ellen Lois Sashuk of Iron River, Alberta announces her passing away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
Ellen will be forever loved and remembered by her three children: Kelly (Robert) Pietrzykowski, Douglas (Bev) Sashuk, Dixie (J.P.) Gaulin; five grandchildren: Stephanie, Jeffrey, Alex, Darren, Curtis; four sisters: Theresa Pierce, Glenna Vezeau (Laurence Beaner), Mae Moore, MaryAnne (Andy) Leroux; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Ellen is predeceased by her husband: Fred Sashuk on October 17, 2012; parents: Glen & Bernice Erickson; sister: Grace Smith.
A private family Funeral Service, by invitation only, on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Willow Prairie Hall, La Corey, Alberta with Pastor Kelly Sibley officiating. Final resting place, Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Beaver River Hill, AB.
