Lawrence Peter Sharun of Bonnyville, Alberta passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Lawrence will be forever remembered & loved by his wife of 63 years: Rose of Bonnyville; daughter: Debbie (Rick) Krauskopf of Fort Saskatchewan; two sons: David (Berni) Sharun of Bonnyville, Danny (Sharon) Sharun of Bonnyville; nine grandchildren: Anastasia (Jarett) Neff, Mykail Sharun (Alex), Alexia (Devon) Kalinski, Matriko Sharun (Taylor), Dylan (Melissa) Sharun, Kassandra Sharun (Brendan), Kirsten Sharun, Kaitlyn Krauskopf (Cody), Krysta Krauskopf (Jack); as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents: Steve & Mary Sharun; two brothers: Nestor & Raymond Sharun; infant brother: Marshall; infant twin sister: Barbara. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service was held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., at Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church with Reverend Father Andrij Nykyforuk officiating. Crossbearer: Krysta Krauskopf; Icon Bearers: Alexia Kalinski, Anastasia Neff; Pallbearers: Mykail Sharun, Matriko Sharun, Dylan Sharun, Kassandra Sharun, Kirsten Sharun, Kaitlyn Krauskopf.
