It is with the deepest sadness that the family of Peter Wakulchyk of Bonnyville, Alberta, formerly of Iron River announces the peaceful passing of their beloved father, grandfather and brother on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the age of 90 years.
Peter will be forever remembered and loved by his son: James (Karlynn) Wakulchyk; two sons-in-law: Ron Weaver, Tim Sproule; seven grandchildren: Cheyenne Wakulchyk, Cherokee Wakulchyk, Eva Wakulchyk, Alecia (Adrian) Weaver, Trevor (Jessica) Sproule, Jason (Brielle) Sproule, Kaleb Sproule; five brothers: John (Faye) Wakulchyk, Tom (Helen) Wakulchyk, Walter (Francis) Wakulchyk, Anton Wakulchyk, Bill (Victoria) Wakulchyk; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
Peter was predeceased by his wife of 61 years: Mary Wakulchyk (October 31, 2021); two daughters: Connie Weaver (November 2, 2017), Janet Sproule (July 6, 2018); parents: Fred & Anna Wakulchyk; brother: Mike Wakulchyk; sister: Nina (George) Fedina.

Funeral Service, Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., Willow Prairie Hall, LaCorey, Alberta, with viewing starting at 11:00 a.m.
Final resting place, Garth Evangelical Cemetery, Garth, Alberta.
