LAKELAND - Just after 7 a.m. on Dec. 30, RCMP were warning the public of a heavy police presence in the Goodfish Lake area and also near Highway 857 and Township Road 574, in the Wasel/Shandro area.
According to information from RCMP, police were mobile in the region, as the incident took place.
Just before 11 a.m., more information was released saying the heavy police presence was over.
"There is no concern for public safety at this time and an additional release is anticipated as the investigation develops," according to information from RCMP.
