ST. PAUL – On May 22, emergency medical services, fire services, and the RCMP responded to a fire in progress along Township Road 580 east of the Town of St. Paul.
Sgt. Bobby Burgess with the St. Paul RCMP detachment said that a tractor was on fire upon arrival and an unconscious male was located nearby.
"Life saving efforts took place by Fire and EMS with STARS [ambulance] attending - and ultimately advising the male was deceased," said Burgess. "The deceased is believed to have suffered a medical episode due to a pre-existing health condition."
St. Paul Fire Department is currently investigating the cause of fire.
