GOODRIDGE - This year, the Goodridge 4-H Beef Club’s season started out great, with a weigh-in on Nov. 12.
Our club has 19 members and five cleaver members. This year, members have 14 market beef projects, 13 breeding heifer projects, three two-year-old cow/calf projects and one carcass beef project.
The 4-H club provides opportunities for the members to develop skills and knowledge, through learning to do by doing. Keep an eye out for our upcoming events. In the next several month, the club will be doing its annual farm tour, public speaking, club achievement day and finally the annual barbecue.
The Goodridge 4-H beef club would like to give a big thank-you to Wes Janz for all his years of serves as our leader and keeping our club going. The Club would like to extend a warm welcome to our new executives for the 2023-24 season.
