Women between the ages of 50 and 74 are being given the opportunity to book an appointment with the mobile mammography service, which is coming to St. Paul from Jan. 12 to 22.
The Alberta Health Services Screen Test program offers improved access to cancer screening for hundreds of women in northern Alberta where mammography isn’t readily available.
“Early detection allows for a greater number of options for treatment and a better chance of survival,” says a public service announcement from AHS.
Residents can book an appointment or learn more about the program by calling 1-800-667-0604.
