ST. PAUL - While a busy intersection was blocked off for part of Tuesday afternoon and several emergency responders were on scene, no injuries were sustained following a motor vehicle collision that took place at 42nd Street and 50th Avenue.

"The investigation revealed that a northbound vehicle failed to give way to a westbound vehicle which resulted in the westbound vehicle colliding with the passenger side of the northbound vehicle causing it to roll onto its side," explained Sgt. Robert Burgess of the St. Paul RCMP.

"No injuries were sustained from either occupant," he confirmed.

The St. Paul Fire Department was called to the scene. A total of 12 firefighters responded, according to Fire Chief Trevor Kotowich.
