GOODFISH LAKE - There is a heavy police presence in the Goodfish (Whitefish) Lake townsite on Wednesday night, and RCMP are asking residents to look their doors and call 911 if they see any suspicious activity.
"We are currently tracking a potentially armed suspect in the area of the Goodfish Lake townsite," reads an RCMP media release sent out at about 9:18 p.m. on Aug. 27.
"There is no active threat towards community members," states the release.
A follow-up media release is expected with more details.
Goodfish Lake is located about 68 km northwest of St. Paul and about 67 km southeast of Lac La Biche.
