RCMP seek suspect vehicle after shooting in Goodfish Lake

One person was being treated for gunshot wounds following a report of a shooting on Wednesday evening.

GOODFISH LAKE - On Wednesday evening at about 6:10 p.m., St. Paul RCMP were dispatched to a call regarding a shooting in Whitefish (Goodfish) Lake, located about 70 km northwest of St. Paul.

One victim is being treated for gunshot wounds, according to information released Wednesday evening. 

"His condition is unknown at this time," according to police.

RCMP are seeking the help of the public to locate a suspect vehicle that fled from police at the Spedden store, shortly after the shooting.

The vehicle is described as a grey or silver Chevrolet pick-up with an extended cab. The truck was missing a handle on the tailgate and had tires in the box of the truck. There were two occupants in the vehicle.

If you see this vehicle, please do not approach it. Call 911 immediately.
