St. Paul Denture Clinic will be changing hands after 35 years as denturist Darren Richardson retires. Taking over at the clinic is Diana Baldwin.

ST. PAUL - After 35 years, the St. Paul Denture Clinic will be changing hands, as denturist Darren Richardson sets his sights on retirement.

After proudly serving the community for more than three decades, Richardson will be hanging up his tools.

Known for his compassionate care and dedication to his patients, Richarson has been a trusted name in denture care for more than three decades.

When asked what inspired him to pursue a career as a denturist, Richardson points to his uncle, Bob Richardson, who was a respected denturist in Alberta.

“He was in the first graduating class in 1965 and has received many awards from the province in Canada. He was my major influence for getting into the profession,” says Richardson.

Throughout this career, Richardson has enjoyed working with people of St. Paul and the greater Lakeland area.

It has “been an absolute privilege and honour and has been the best part of my career,” he says. Another highlight of his career was helping with the Kindness in Action Initiative with now retired St. Paul dentist Dr. Amil Shaka and going into South and Latin America to help people. His mentor and uncle, Bob, was also part of those efforts.

Richardson completed 15 trips to South and Latin America with Kindness in Action.

A new role

Taking over for Richardson at the St. Paul Denture Clinic is Diana Baldwin. She has been with the clinic for 17 years and is described as a passionate denturist who brings fresh energy and a strong commitment to continuing the standard of care the community has come to expect.

She combines the latest in denture technology with a personal, patient-first philosophy. Under her leadership, the clinic is poised for an exciting new chapter, offering both continuity and innovation.

The future of the clinic is bright, and the community remains in expert, caring hands.
