St. Paul Education celebrates long-serving and retiring staff

ST. PAUL – St. Paul Education honoured its long-serving and retiring staff during its annual Long Service and Retirement Celebration on May 29.

Superintendent Peter Barron said all students can succeed when surrounded by people who believe in them, and that is exactly what St. Paul Education staff members continue to do.

To those recognized for their years of service, he said, it is their work that continues to light the way forward for schools and students.

"You are the steady hands and open hearts that make St. Paul Education the caring, student-centred community it is," he said.

To the retirees, he bid them good luck in their journey and thanked them for their services.

"Your footprints are woven into the stories of thousands of students who are better off because you were in their lives. Thank you for making our schools not just places of learning, but places of joy, safety, and possibility," said Barron.
