Lac La Biche - St. Paul - Two Hills candidate Phil Johnson spoke to the 2012 provincial election campaign at the all-candidates forum in St. Paul on April 9. While the NDP is running a "low resource" campaign, Johnson sees it as a "building campaign."

"I think there's a lot of potential in this constituency and we're looking to the future."

The local campaign is relying on the central campaign and the "strength of our platform," as well as using social media and getting the party's election message out through media. At the forum, Johnson raised concerns over increasing privatization of health care in Alberta, electricity deregulation, fiscal mismanagement and Bill 36.
