Window washers appreciated by seniors

Jr. B hockey players and Youth Council members volunteered part of their afternoon on Sept. 29 to help clean windows at a St. Paul seniors facility.

ST. PAUL - Members of the St. Paul Jr. B Canadiens hockey team, along with members of the St. Paul Youth Council, were busy doing some fall cleaning at Heritage Homes Phase II, helping the many senior residents get ready for the winter season.

A total of five members from each organization volunteered their time on Sept. 29.

"The kids had comments of gratitude while they were working, and we received two phone call messages indicating how appreciative the residents were to have that job done for them," said Brenda Billo, program assistant with the Town of St. Paul FCSS.
