ST. PAUL - On July 11, young musicians performed at the St. Paul Lions Park over the lunch hour. The performance is part of a youth initiative program for summer students, supported by the St. Paul and District Arts Foundation.
Valerie Pratch, a member of the Foundation's board, said the hope is to have musicians play for the community every Friday "during lunch hour" throughout July and August at the main street park.
Members of the community are encouraged to reach out to the Foundation if they are interested in showcasing their musical talents.
"We're looking specifically for 13 to 30 years old," either as solo acts, bands or duets, she added.
