Canada Day waves on the boats, under the boats and from shore

The Donald family, camping at the Beaver Lake campsite over the Canada Day holiday enjoy the Young's Beach Floatilla on Wednesday afternoon.
Despite the dreary weather, there were waves from shore as well as the ones on the lake.

Across the Lakeland and the nation, residents spent unique ways celebrating Canada Day. With COVID-19 restrictions cancelling most community celebrations, many residents found creative ways to wave the banner.  Some, like this group of boat owners and their friends, used the waves to power their own waves to people on shore. Despite the dreary and blustery day, the colour of national pride shone through.
